Whiteout Survival T12 Infantry, officially called Exalted Infantry, is the late-game Infantry upgrade that follows Helios Infantry. It is unlocked through the Infantry section of Flame Tech in the War Academy.
Exalted Infantry focuses on frontline stability. Its research branch improves Infantry Health, Defense, Attack, and Lethality. It also increases troop deployment capacity and unlocks
Indomitable Wall, an exclusive rally and garrison skill.
This guide focuses specifically on T12 Infantry. It covers the unlock requirements, Steel cost, Exalted research nodes, Molten upgrades, Indomitable Wall, recommended research order, free-to-play milestones, and whether Infantry should be your first T12 troop.
For general T12 requirements and comparisons between all three troop classes, read the
Whiteout Survival Exalted Troops guide.
T12 Infantry is a strong first Exalted Troop for defensive, garrison, and balanced accounts. Unlock it by completing the five initial Infantry technologies, then raise all four Molten I lines evenly to reach Indomitable Wall. Prioritize Infantry Health and Defense after completing each mandatory research milestone.
What Is T12 Infantry in Whiteout Survival?
Exalted Infantry in Whiteout Survival is the Tier 12 version of Helios Infantry. It belongs to the Flame Tech system inside the War Academy.

Infantry usually absorbs the first pressure placed on a formation. Therefore, improving Infantry survivability can also increase the effective damage of Lancers and Marksmen by keeping them active for more turns.
However, T12 Infantry is not purely defensive. Its Flame Tech branch also contains Infantry Attack and Lethality research.
How to Unlock T12 Infantry
T12 access depends on both state progression and personal troop development.
1. Reach the Required State Age
The state must reach the age required for Exalted Troops. The game does not use one universal date for every state.
Check the War Academy interface. Flame Tech will appear once the state becomes eligible and the account meets the initial Helios requirement.
2. Unlock a Helios T11 Troop
Unlocking any Helios troop opens access to the Flame Tech system after the state-age requirement is met.
However, opening Flame Tech does not allow every T12 troop to be unlocked immediately.
3. Unlock Helios Infantry
Exalted Infantry must be upgraded from the corresponding
Helios Infantry troop.
- Helios Infantry leads to Exalted Infantry.
- Helios Lancer leads to Exalted Lancer.
- Helios Marksman leads to Exalted Marksman.
Having Helios Marksman or Helios Lancer alone does not qualify the account to unlock Exalted Infantry.
4. Complete the Five Exalted Infantry Technologies
The first Infantry Flame Tech layer contains five technologies. Each technology has five levels.
Complete all five technologies to Level 5 to finish the T12 Infantry unlock layer.
Important: Unlocking Flame Tech and unlocking Exalted Infantry are separate milestones. Flame Tech can appear after any Helios unlock, but Exalted Infantry still requires the corresponding Helios Infantry progression.
What Materials Are Needed for T12 Infantry?
The initial Exalted Infantry layer requires three special materials:
Deeper Molten research, Indomitable Wall, and Solar Supremacy also require standard resources:
- Meat
- Wood
- Coal
- Iron
- Research speedups
Steel and Fire Crystal Shards are major long-term requirements. Nevertheless, Meat and Wood can also become significant bottlenecks during Molten II and Molten III.
How Much Steel Does T12 Infantry Cost?
The amount of Steel needed depends on the milestone you are targeting.

Each stat line contains Molten I, Molten II, and Molten III stages.
Health and Defense are normally the most important Infantry priorities. However, the Indomitable Wall and Solar Supremacy gates require progress across all four technologies.
Molten I Infantry Research
Each Molten I technology contains 20 levels and reaches a maximum bonus of 20%.
- Molten Blades I: Up to 20% Infantry Attack.
- Molten Guard I: Up to 20% Infantry Lethality.
- Molten Plating I: Up to 20% Infantry Health.
- Molten Shields I: Up to 20% Infantry Defense.

Molten I Skill Requirements
Indomitable Wall requires all four Molten I technologies to reach the same milestone.
- All four technologies at Level 5 unlock Indomitable Wall Level 1.
- All four technologies at Level 10 unlock Indomitable Wall Level 2.
- All four technologies at Level 15 unlock Indomitable Wall Level 3.
Consequently, raising only Molten Plating and Molten Shields will delay the skill. Keep all four lines balanced until the desired Indomitable Wall level is unlocked.
Indomitable Wall Explained
Indomitable Wall is the exclusive Exalted Infantry skill. It creates a defensive shield effect at the start of battle and reduces the damage inflicted by enemy troops for five turns.
The skill has three research levels. Each level requires higher Molten I milestones.
Where Indomitable Wall Works
Indomitable Wall only activates during:
It does not activate during ordinary solo attacks.
This distinction is important. A player who mainly attacks alone will receive less direct value from the skill than an active rally or garrison participant.
How Indomitable Wall Stacking Works
The effect can stack from up to eight eligible players in the same rally or garrison.
If more than eight players have Indomitable Wall, the game uses the eight members with the highest skill levels.
As a result, Alliance planning matters. A member with a higher Indomitable Wall level may provide more coordinated battle value than a player who spreads resources across several incomplete T12 branches.

Is Indomitable Wall Worth It?
Indomitable Wall is worth developing when you regularly participate in rallies, garrisons, and coordinated Alliance battles.
It is particularly valuable when:
- You reinforce Fortress, Castle, or Stronghold garrisons.
- You participate in State-versus-State battles.
- Your Alliance needs additional high-level Infantry skill stacks.
- Your Infantry statistics are already competitive.
- You can reach a complete skill level rather than leaving all four prerequisites unfinished.
Indomitable Wall is less urgent for players who primarily use solo attacks because its effect does not activate in ordinary solo combat.
Molten II Infantry Research
Molten II becomes available after Indomitable Wall Level 1. Each technology contains 50 levels and reaches a maximum bonus of 50%.
- Molten Blades II: Infantry Attack.
- Molten Guard II: Infantry Lethality.
- Molten Plating II: Infantry Health.
- Molten Shields II: Infantry Defense.
Molten II Skill Gates
- Indomitable Wall Level 1 opens the first Molten II levels.
- Indomitable Wall Level 2 is required around the Level 15 milestone.
- Indomitable Wall Level 3 is required around the Level 30 milestone.

Best Molten II Priority
For defensive and garrison-focused accounts, use this order:
- Molten Plating II for Infantry Health.
- Molten Shields II for Infantry Defense.
- Molten Blades II for Infantry Attack.
- Molten Guard II for Infantry Lethality.
Rally leaders may move Attack or Lethality forward after reviewing battle reports. Nevertheless, Infantry Health and Defense usually provide the most consistent frontline benefit.
Solar Supremacy
Solar Supremacy increases troop deployment capacity.
The technology contains 15 levels. Each level adds 200 capacity, providing a maximum total of 3,000.

Solar Supremacy is valuable for rally leaders and players who need larger troop deployments. However, the technology is locked behind deep Molten II progression and is usually a later target.
Molten III Infantry Research
Molten III is the final major Infantry stat layer. It becomes available after Solar Supremacy reaches Level 15.
- Molten Blades III: Up to 50% Infantry Attack.
- Molten Guard III: Up to 50% Infantry Lethality.
- Molten Plating III: Up to 50% Infantry Health.
- Molten Shields III: Up to 50% Infantry Defense.

Best T12 Infantry Research Order
Recommended General Order
- Complete all five Exalted Infantry technologies.
- Unlock T12 Infantry.
- Raise all four Molten I technologies to Level 5.
- Research Indomitable Wall Level 1.
- Raise all four Molten I technologies to Level 10.
- Research Indomitable Wall Level 2.
- Raise all four Molten I technologies to Level 15.
- Research Indomitable Wall Level 3.
- Finish the remaining Molten I levels.
- Prioritize Molten II Health and Defense.
- Add Attack and Lethality as required for balance and research gates.
- Develop Solar Supremacy after reaching the Molten II requirements.
- Begin Molten III only when the rest of the account is ready.
Best Defensive Priority
- Infantry Health.
- Infantry Defense.
- Indomitable Wall milestones.
- Troop Deployment Capacity.
- Infantry Attack.
- Infantry Lethality.
Best Balanced Priority
- Infantry Health.
- Infantry Defense.
- Infantry Attack.
- Infantry Lethality.
- Indomitable Wall milestones.
- Troop Deployment Capacity.
Battle reports should guide the final decision. When Infantry is being removed too quickly, Health and Defense should receive more attention. When the frontline already survives comfortably, Attack and Lethality can provide a better marginal improvement.
Should You Unlock T12 Infantry First?
T12 Infantry is often the safest general Exalted Troop choice, but it is not automatically the best choice for every account.
| Player type |

| Garrison leader |
Very high |
Frontline durability supports objective defense |
| Defensive rally leader |

Provides broadly useful value, but rare materials must remain concentrated |
Infantry is generally the safest first choice when the account lacks a specialized role. However, an offensive rally leader with much stronger Marksman heroes and statistics may benefit more from Exalted Marksman.
Before committing materials, compare the
Whiteout Survival T12 Marksman guide and the
Whiteout Survival T12 Lancer guide.
T12 Infantry Strategy for F2P Players
Free-to-play players should treat Exalted Infantry as a series of milestones rather than one continuous push toward a fully completed branch.
Practical Milestones
- Save enough materials to finish the full Exalted unlock layer.
- Unlock T12 Infantry before opening another Exalted branch.
- Raise all four Molten I technologies to Level 5.
- Unlock Indomitable Wall Level 1.
- Review whether the Alliance needs higher Infantry skill stacks.
- Continue toward Levels 2 and 3 only when resources support the full milestone.
- Prioritize Health and Defense after completing mandatory balanced requirements.
- Delay Solar Supremacy and Molten III until the account is more developed.
Indomitable Wall Level 1 can be a reasonable stopping point for a low-spending rally or garrison member. It provides the exclusive skill without requiring the full cost of the later tree.
Reaching Exalted Infantry requires Helios research, Steel, Refined Fire Crystals, Fire Crystal Shards, standard resources, and long research timers. Players comparing that progression with an established late-game city may review a wos account for sale, while checking its state age, Helios troops, Exalted unlocks, Flame Tech, Indomitable Wall level, heroes, troop statistics, transfer eligibility, and resource inventory.
T12 Infantry Resource Planning Tips
Calculate the Entire Milestone
Do not evaluate only the next technology level. Calculate the full cost required to reach the next completed milestone, such as the Infantry unlock or Indomitable Wall Level 1.
Protect Refined Fire Crystals
Refined Fire Crystals are shared with other advanced progression systems. Compare upcoming building and research requirements before spending them.
Track Steel Carefully
The complete Infantry branch requires approximately 17.78 million Steel. Even the initial Exalted layer requires more than 1.6 million.
Avoid opening unnecessary research branches when Steel is needed for a clearly defined Infantry milestone.
Save Fire Crystal Shards
The deeper branch consumes tens of thousands of Fire Crystal Shards. Small unplanned expenditures can delay a skill or Molten milestone.
Maintain Standard Resources
Molten research also consumes large amounts of Meat, Wood, Coal, and Iron. Continue gathering and protect resource items needed for research events.
Prepare Research Bonuses
Activate applicable research-speed bonuses and request Alliance Help before using speedups. Indomitable Wall alone has 60 days of combined base research time.
Use Valuable Event Windows
When practical, complete major upgrades during applicable research, power-growth, or State-versus-State preparation phases.
However, do not delay an upgrade required for an important Alliance battle merely to collect a small event reward.
Common T12 Infantry Mistakes
Targeting Broad T12 Keywords on This Page
This page should focus on Exalted Infantry, Infantry costs, and Indomitable Wall. General T12 unlock and comparison information belongs on the global Exalted Troops guide.
Assuming Any Helios Troop Unlocks Exalted Infantry
Any Helios troop can open Flame Tech, but Exalted Infantry specifically requires Helios Infantry.
Assuming Indomitable Wall Works in Solo Attacks
The skill only activates during rallies and garrisons.
Upgrading Only Health and Defense Before the Skill
Indomitable Wall requires all four Molten I technologies at the relevant milestone. Attack and Lethality cannot be ignored during the skill-unlock path.
Ignoring Health and Defense After the Skill Gate
Infantry is the frontline. After meeting balanced prerequisites, Health and Defense usually deserve the first discretionary investment.
Spreading Materials Across Every T12 Branch
Several incomplete branches may offer less practical value than one completed troop unlock with a useful exclusive skill.
Rushing Molten III
Molten III is extremely expensive. Compare its value with heroes, Chief Gear, Charms, pets, and other account systems.
Copying a Rally Leader’s Research Plan
Rally leaders, garrison leaders, and rally joiners may need different priorities. Match the research plan to the account’s actual Alliance role.

Conclusion
Whiteout Survival T12 Infantry is the defensive Exalted Troop branch, combining stronger Infantry statistics, additional deployment capacity, and the Indomitable Wall skill.
Begin by unlocking Helios Infantry and completing the five Exalted Infantry technologies. Next, raise all four Molten I lines evenly so Indomitable Wall can be unlocked without unnecessary delays.
After each mandatory milestone, prioritize Infantry Health and Defense. These statistics support frontline survival and give Lancers and Marksmen more time to perform their roles.
Indomitable Wall only activates during rallies and garrisons, where it can stack from up to eight eligible players. Therefore, Alliance coordination should influence how far you develop the skill.
For most players, the practical goals are the T12 Infantry unlock, Indomitable Wall Level 1, and then higher skill levels when the Alliance needs them. Solar Supremacy and Molten III should remain long-term targets.
