The Missile Center in Last War: Survival is the military building that strengthens every Missile Vehicle hero on your account. It unlocks at Headquarters level 11 and increases Missile Hero March Size, HP, Attack, and Defense as you level it.
For a dedicated Missile squad, the most important building breakpoint is level 20, because it also lets eligible 5-star Missile heroes enter the Wall of Honor. Levels 21–30 continue adding useful combat stats, while Age of Oil eventually extends the Missile Center to level 35.
★Quick Take
If Missile is your main formation, make level 20 an early long-term target, then continue toward 30 as resources allow. If Missile is only your second or third squad, do not spend hundreds of millions of resources keeping the Center equal to your Headquarters while your primary formation, research, or required buildings still need investment.
What Does the Missile Center Do?
The Missile Center provides permanent account-wide bonuses to heroes whose vehicle type is Missile Vehicle. Its building level directly increases four stats:
- Missile Hero March Size: increases the troop capacity contributed by eligible heroes.
- Missile Hero HP: improves survivability.
- Missile Hero Attack: increases offensive stats.
- Missile Hero Defense: improves durability against incoming damage.
These are flat building bonuses applied to Missile Vehicle heroes. They stack with hero levels, stars, skills, gear, Exclusive Weapons, Wall of Honor, research, drone progression, Tactics Cards, seasonal systems, and other combat bonuses.
The Missile Center does not improve Tank or Aircraft heroes. If your primary formation uses another troop type, upgrading its matching Center usually provides more immediate combat value.
Which Heroes Benefit From the Missile Center?
The current Missile Vehicle roster includes nine heroes:
| Hero | Rarity / Progression | Typical Role |
|---|---|---|
| Tesla | UR | Energy damage carry |
| Fiona | UR | Physical multi-target damage |
| Adam | UR | Front-row defender and counterattacker |
| McGregor | UR | Front-row defender with taunt utility |
| Swift | UR | Damage dealer and low-HP finisher |
| Venom | SSR, promotable to UR in Season 5 | Damage dealer |
| Blaz | SSR | Missile damage dealer |
| Elsa | SSR | Missile hero |
| Kane | SR | Early-game Missile option |
The original source sometimes lists Elsa as “Esla.” The in-game hero is Elsa.
For individual hero development, read the Last War Tesla guide, Last War Fiona guide, and Last War Adam guide.
Best Missile Heroes in 2026
For a developed Missile formation, the standard five-UR core remains Adam and McGregor in the front row, with Tesla, Fiona, and Swift in the back row. All five benefit from the Missile Center and qualify for the maximum same-type formation bonus.
| Position | Hero | Why They Fit |
|---|---|---|
| Front | Adam | Durable Missile defender whose counter-oriented kit protects the frontline |
| Front | McGregor | Provides another defensive body and taunt-based protection for the damage dealers |
| Back | Tesla | Primary Energy Damage carry and the Missile hero selected for Season 6 Awakening |
| Back | Fiona | Strong Physical Damage option that complements Tesla’s Energy Damage |
| Back | Swift | Targets weakened enemies and completes the full five-Missile formation |
Venom becomes more interesting after his Season 5 SSR-to-UR promotion. Whether he replaces Swift or another back-row option depends on star level, skills, gear, and how fully you can rebuild him after promotion. A well-developed existing UR hero can outperform an unfinished promoted Venom.
✓Recommendation
Tesla is the safest long-term Missile damage investment in the current Season 6 progression because he has an Exclusive Weapon and receives Hero Awakening. Fiona is the natural second damage carry, while Adam and McGregor provide the frontline needed to keep both damage dealers alive.
Missile Squad Formation Bonus and Type Counter
A full five-hero Missile squad receives the maximum same-type formation bonus:
| Formation | HP / Attack / Defense Bonus |
|---|---|
| 3 heroes of the same type | +5% |
| 3 of one type + 2 of another | +10% |
| 4 heroes of the same type | +15% |
| 5 heroes of the same type | +20% |
This makes a complete Missile lineup more valuable than simply selecting five individually strong heroes from different troop types.
Missile also sits inside the normal troop-type counter:
- Missile Vehicles are strong against Aircraft.
- Tanks are strong against Missile Vehicles.
- Aircraft are strong against Tanks.
That makes Missile particularly useful on servers where strong Aircraft formations are common. Against a similarly developed Tank squad, however, the type matchup works against you.
Missile Center Level 20: The Wall of Honor Breakpoint
Level 20 deserves special attention because the matching troop-type Center must reach level 20 before eligible 5-star heroes can enter the Wall of Honor.
At Missile Center level 20, the building provides:
- 67 Missile Hero March Size.
- 20,000 Missile Hero HP.
- 476.2 Missile Hero Attack.
- 95.2 Missile Hero Defense.
Once the Missile Center is level 20, 5-star Missile heroes can use excess shards in the Wall of Honor. Their Wall of Honor upgrades provide additional long-term bonuses, which makes level 20 far more important than simply another incremental building level.
!Important
Do not spend excess hero shards assuming the Wall of Honor is already available. The hero must be 5 stars and the corresponding Tank, Aircraft, or Missile Center must be level 20.

Is It Worth Upgrading the Missile Center to Level 30?
Yes if Missile is your primary formation; not necessarily if it is a secondary squad.
Going from level 20 to level 30 raises Missile Hero March Size from 67 to 100, HP from 20,000 to 45,000, Attack from 476.2 to 714.3, and Defense from 95.2 to 142.9. Those bonuses apply to every Missile hero, so the return becomes much better when all five heroes in your main squad are Missile type.
The problem is cost. The final levels require hundreds of millions of resources and construction timers that can last weeks before speed bonuses. For a secondary Missile squad, that same resource reserve may provide more value in the Tech Center, Headquarters, troop research, or your primary troop-type Center.
Prioritize Level 30 When
- Your main formation is already a five-Missile squad.
- Adam, McGregor, Tesla, Fiona, and Swift or Venom are meaningfully developed.
- Your Missile heroes are already using Wall of Honor.
- You regularly fight Aircraft-heavy opponents.
- Your main research and Headquarters requirements are funded.
- You are preparing for the Age of Oil progression beyond level 30.
Delay Level 30 When
- Missile is only your second or third squad.
- You do not yet have a viable Missile frontline.
- Your Tesla and Fiona are still lightly developed.
- Coins or Food are blocking important research.
- Your primary Tank or Aircraft Center is underleveled.
- You need the builder for a more important Headquarters prerequisite.
Age of Oil: Missile Center Levels 31–35
After Season 2, Age of Oil progression adds an additional Tech Center tree. Completing the relevant HQ Expansion research allows the Headquarters and eligible buildings to continue beyond level 30.
Missile Center levels 31–35 require Oil in addition to Iron, Food, and Coins.
| Level | Iron | Food | Coin | Oil | March Size | HP | Attack | Defense | Power |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 31 | 1,200,000,000 | 400,000,000 | 250,000,000 | 562,500 | 103 | 48,000 | 761.9 | 152.4 | 320,300 |
| 32 | 1,300,000,000 | 440,000,000 | 280,000,000 | 900,000 | 106 | 51,000 | 809.5 | 161.9 | 367,300 |
| 33 | 1,400,000,000 | 480,000,000 | 310,000,000 | 1,530,000 | 109 | 54,000 | 857.1 | 171.4 | 416,300 |
| 34 | 1,500,000,000 | 500,000,000 | 320,000,000 | 2,754,000 | 112 | 57,000 | 904.8 | 181 | 466,700 |
| 35 | 1,600,000,000 | 530,000,000 | 340,000,000 | 5,508,000 | 115 | 60,000 | 952.4 | 190.5 | 518,700 |
Level 35 is a major long-term investment rather than a quick combat upgrade. Oil is also required by other Age of Oil progression, so Missile-focused accounts should still compare the Center with HQ Expansion, Tech Center, Barracks, and other required buildings before committing.
How to Build a Strong Missile Squad
The Missile Center multiplies the value of a well-developed Missile formation, but it cannot replace the other systems that determine combat performance.
1. Build the Frontline First
Adam and McGregor are the natural Missile defenders. Without enough frontline durability, Tesla and Fiona can die before their damage becomes decisive.
2. Concentrate Damage Investment
Tesla and Fiona should receive a large share of offensive gear, Skill Medals, shards, and weapon investment. Tesla provides Energy Damage while Fiona supplies Physical Damage, making the pair harder to counter with one defensive profile.
3. Use a Five-Missile Formation When Ready
Five Missile heroes provide +20% HP, Attack, and Defense from the same-type formation bonus. Do not force this too early if your fifth Missile hero is dramatically weaker than an already-developed alternative, but a mature Missile account should work toward the complete mono-type lineup.
4. Exploit Aircraft Matchups
Missile is designed to counter Aircraft. Scout opponents before PvP rather than sending the same formation into every matchup. Against Tanks, the normal type counter puts Missile at a disadvantage.
5. Keep Troops and Research Current
March Size is only useful if you have enough high-tier troops to fill the squad. The Last War Troop Stats guide explains how troop tier, Morale, March Size, Attack, Defense, and HP contribute to actual combat strength.
Missile Center Strategy for F2P Players
Missile is generally harder to complete early than Tank because its ideal UR lineup arrives across different stages of server progression. F2P players should therefore avoid investing heavily in the Missile Center before the roster can actually use those bonuses.
- Use your strongest accessible squad during early progression instead of forcing Missile immediately.
- Build Tesla when he becomes realistically obtainable and useful to your account.
- Collect Swift and the Missile frontline heroes as server progression expands.
- Reach Missile Center level 20 when you have 5-star Missile heroes ready for Wall of Honor.
- Develop one damage carry before spreading gear across every Missile hero.
- Move toward the full Adam/McGregor/Tesla/Fiona/Swift lineup only when the heroes are developed enough to justify the switch.
- Do not push levels 25–30 while your primary research is starved of Coins.
Players who want to begin with a more established Missile roster can optionally compare Last War accounts for sale, but prioritize hero stars, Tesla and Fiona development, Exclusive Weapons, gear, research, troop tier, and Missile Center level rather than judging an account by total Power alone.
Common Missile Center Mistakes
Upgrading It Without a Missile Squad
The Center’s bonuses only apply to Missile Vehicle heroes. If your main squad is Tank or Aircraft, the matching vehicle Center is usually the more efficient combat investment.
Stopping Just Before Level 20
Levels below 20 provide useful stats, but level 20 adds the important Wall of Honor eligibility requirement for 5-star Missile heroes.
Forcing a Full Missile Team Too Early
A five-Missile formation receives a strong type bonus, but an unfinished lineup with low-star heroes can still lose to a better-developed primary squad. Transition when the roster is ready.
Ignoring the Type Counter
Missile excels against Aircraft but is disadvantaged against Tanks. A high Missile Center does not remove that matchup mechanic.
Putting Damage Dealers in the Front Row
Tesla, Fiona, and Swift need protection to deal damage. Adam and McGregor should normally occupy the frontline in a developed Missile formation.
Spreading Gear Across Too Many Heroes
A strong Tesla or Fiona usually creates more immediate impact than five heroes with equally mediocre gear. Build the carry first, then strengthen the frontline and secondary damage dealer.
Maxing the Building Before Research
Late Missile Center levels consume huge amounts of Food, Iron, and Coins. Do not create a Tech Center or troop-research bottleneck just to keep the building equal to HQ level.
FAQs
At what Headquarters level does the Missile Center unlock?
The Missile Center becomes available at Headquarters level 11.
What does the Missile Center improve?
It increases Missile Hero March Size, HP, Attack, and Defense. These bonuses apply to Missile Vehicle heroes rather than Tank or Aircraft heroes.
What Missile Center level should I aim for?
Level 20 is the first major long-term target because it unlocks Wall of Honor eligibility for 5-star Missile heroes. Dedicated Missile accounts should then work toward level 30, while secondary Missile squads can upgrade more gradually.
Who are the best Missile heroes in 2026?
Tesla is the main long-term damage priority, especially with Season 6 Awakening. Fiona is another high-value damage dealer, while Adam and McGregor form the standard defensive frontline. Swift completes the traditional five-UR lineup, with promoted UR Venom becoming another option from Season 5 onward.
Does a full Missile squad get a formation bonus?
Yes. Five heroes of the same troop type provide +20% HP, Attack, and Defense. Missile also counters Aircraft but is countered by Tank formations.
Can the Missile Center reach level 35?
Yes. Age of Oil progression and the required HQ Expansion research allow eligible buildings such as the Missile Center to continue from level 30 to level 35, with Oil added to the upgrade requirements.
Conclusion
The Last War Missile Center is a high-value military building once Missile becomes a real part of your account. Reach level 20 to support Wall of Honor progression, keep Tesla and Fiona protected behind Adam and McGregor, and push toward levels 30–35 only when those expensive upgrades fit your broader research and base plan.
