Kingshot Truegold Cavalry unlock and research guide

Truegold Cavalry is the XI, or T11, Cavalry troop tier in Kingshot. Unlocking it requires War Academy TG Level 5, Truegold Lances Level 12, Truegold Platecraft Level 12, and Truegold Legionaries (Cavalry) Level 12. The final unlock alone costs 2,236 Truegold Dust and takes more than 91 days at base research speed.

This Kingshot Truegold Cavalry guide explains the complete late-game progression path, including Cavalry Defense research through Truegold Platecraft, the T11 unlock requirements, resource costs, Truegold Dust, research time, and the technologies available after the troop is unlocked.

Those post-unlock technologies are Truegold Cavalry Training, Truegold Cavalry Aid, and Truegold Cavalry Healing. Although their names are similar, each technology solves a different problem. Training lowers troop-training costs, Aid reduces healing time, and Healing lowers healing resource costs.

Because the full progression is extremely expensive, players should plan the entire branch before committing Gold, Truegold Dust, resources, and research speedups.

What Is Truegold Cavalry in Kingshot?

Truegold Cavalry is the advanced Cavalry troop tier unlocked through the War Academy. It is commonly referred to as T11 Cavalry because it appears as the XI troop tier after completing the required Cavalry research branch.

Truegold Cavalry is not unlocked by upgrading the Stable with regular Truegold. Stable Truegold levels improve the building and the troop progression connected to it, while the XI troop unlock belongs to a separate War Academy research system.

That distinction matters because Kingshot uses several similarly named resources and systems:

  • Truegold: Primarily used to upgrade buildings beyond their normal Level 30 progression.
  • Tempered Truegold: Used during higher Truegold building stages.
  • Truegold Dust: Used for War Academy technologies and XI troop research.
  • Truegold Cavalry: The XI Cavalry troop unlock inside the War Academy.

Saving ordinary Truegold does not directly pay for the Truegold Cavalry research node. The War Academy branch requires Bread, Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Truegold Dust, and a substantial amount of research time.

Complete Truegold Cavalry Research Path

The Cavalry branch contains ten connected technologies. Six prepare the branch and improve Cavalry performance or capacity, one unlocks the XI troop, and three reduce the long-term cost of training and healing it.

Technology Purpose Maximum Listed Result
Truegold Battalion (Cavalry) Increases squad deployment capacity +1,000 deployment capacity
Truegold Charge Increases Cavalry Lethality +25% Cavalry Lethality
Truegold Farriery Increases Cavalry Health +25% Cavalry Health
Truegold Legionaries (Cavalry) Increases rally squad capacity +33,500 rally capacity
Truegold Lances Increases Cavalry Attack +40% Cavalry Attack
Truegold Platecraft Increases Cavalry Defense +40% Cavalry Defense
Truegold Cavalry Unlocks the advanced Cavalry troop tier Unlock XI Truegold Cavalry
Truegold Cavalry Training Reduces Truegold Cavalry training costs 50% listed cost reduction
Truegold Cavalry Aid Reduces Truegold Cavalry healing time 15% listed time reduction
Truegold Cavalry Healing Reduces Truegold Cavalry healing costs 50% listed cost reduction

The first six technologies are part of the route toward the troop unlock. Training, Aid, and Healing become available only after Truegold Cavalry Level 1 has been completed.

Truegold Platecraft: Cavalry Defense Costs and Requirements

Kingshot Truegold Platecraft Cavalry Defense costs and requirements

Truegold Platecraft is a War Academy technology that permanently increases Cavalry Defense. It contains 12 levels and provides a listed cumulative bonus of 40% Cavalry Defense when fully completed.

Despite its armor-themed description, Truegold Platecraft is not equipment that can be assigned to a hero. Instead, it is an account-wide research bonus for eligible Cavalry troops.

Platecraft also serves an important progression purpose. Players must complete Truegold Platecraft Level 12, along with Truegold Lances Level 12 and Truegold Legionaries (Cavalry) Level 12, before the final XI Truegold Cavalry unlock becomes available.

Platecraft summary: The research requires a total of 2,417 Truegold Dust, takes approximately 35 days and 8 hours at base research speed, grants 1,344,000 research power, and provides 40% cumulative Cavalry Defense.

Truegold Platecraft progression gates

Platecraft is connected to Truegold Farriery, the Cavalry Health research technology. Several Platecraft levels cannot be reached until the required Farriery stages and War Academy Truegold levels are completed.

  • Level 1: Requires War Academy TG Level 3 and Truegold Farriery Level 6.
  • Level 3: Requires War Academy TG Level 4.
  • Level 7: Requires War Academy TG Level 5 and Truegold Farriery Level 7.
  • Level 8: Requires Truegold Farriery Level 8.
  • Level 12: Required for the final Truegold Cavalry troop unlock.

As a result, players should develop Platecraft and Farriery together rather than treating Cavalry Defense as an isolated research path.

Total cost to max Truegold Platecraft

  • Bread: 31,060,000
  • Wood: 31,060,000
  • Stone: 6,200,000
  • Iron: 1,554,000
  • Gold: 659,000
  • Truegold Dust: 2,417
  • Base research time: 35d 08:31:56
  • Total research power: 1,344,000
  • Total Cavalry Defense: +40%

The final four levels provide half of the full Defense bonus. Levels 9 through 12 each add 5%, for a combined 20% Cavalry Defense. However, those same four levels require 1,462 Truegold Dust and 395,000 Gold.

Platecraft versus Farriery

Truegold Platecraft and Truegold Farriery are both defensive Cavalry technologies, but they improve different statistics:

  • Truegold Platecraft: Increases Cavalry Defense.
  • Truegold Farriery: Increases Cavalry Health.

Defense helps reduce the damage troops receive, while Health increases how much damage they can withstand. Actual battle performance also depends on Cavalry Attack, Lethality, hero skills, troop tier, Governor Gear, Charms, alliance technology, pets, and the opposing formation.

Therefore, Platecraft should not be treated as a complete defensive solution by itself. Maintaining a reasonable balance between Defense and Health generally creates a more durable Cavalry formation.

Is Truegold Platecraft worth prioritizing?

Platecraft is mandatory for players committed to unlocking XI Truegold Cavalry because Level 12 is one of the final prerequisites. Nevertheless, its timing depends on the account’s current research balance.

Prioritize Platecraft when:

  • You are actively progressing toward the Truegold Cavalry unlock.
  • Cavalry is your primary or secondary combat branch.
  • Your Cavalry Defense is weaker than your Attack, Health, or Lethality.
  • Your developed heroes and account bonuses already support Cavalry.
  • You have enough Dust reserved for the connected Farriery requirements.

Delay Platecraft when:

  • You are not planning to unlock XI Cavalry soon.
  • Infantry or Archers are the main focus of your account.
  • Your Cavalry Health or Lethality research is significantly behind.
  • Another prerequisite is blocking more of the Cavalry branch.
  • Your Gold and Truegold Dust are needed for a higher-priority troop unlock.

Data note: Older Platecraft tables may display shortened Truegold Dust values, such as 5 instead of 54 or 48 instead of 480. Use the corrected values above and verify the current in-game War Academy screen before opening resources or applying speedups.

How to Unlock Truegold Cavalry

The final Truegold Cavalry research node has one level. However, reaching it requires several prerequisite technologies to be completed first.

Final unlock requirements

  • War Academy TG Level 5
  • Truegold Lances Level 12
  • Truegold Platecraft Level 12
  • Truegold Legionaries (Cavalry) Level 12

These requirements mean that players must develop Cavalry Attack, Cavalry Defense, and rally capacity before the final XI unlock becomes available.

Truegold Cavalry unlock cost

Level Requirements Bread Wood Stone Iron Gold Truegold Dust Base Time Power
1 War Academy TG Lv. 5, Lances Lv. 12, Platecraft Lv. 12, Legionaries Lv. 12 85,000,000 85,000,000 17,000,000 4,200,000 1,000,000 2,236 91d 08:15:00 8,000,000

Important: The values above cover only the final Truegold Cavalry unlock. They do not include the resources, Dust, and time spent completing Battalion, Charge, Farriery, Legionaries, Lances, and Platecraft.

What Happens After You Unlock T11 Cavalry?

Unlocking Truegold Cavalry opens access to three additional economic and recovery technologies. They do not directly increase Attack, Defense, Health, or Lethality. Instead, they reduce the cost of maintaining a large XI Cavalry force.

Research What It Reduces Levels Bonus Per Level Maximum Listed Bonus
Training Resources used to train Truegold Cavalry 10 5% 50%
Aid Time needed to heal Truegold Cavalry 10 1.5% 15%
Healing Resources used to heal Truegold Cavalry 10 5% 50%

Training and Healing use the same listed resource pattern. Aid costs approximately half as much but provides a smaller percentage bonus because it targets healing time rather than resource consumption.

Truegold Cavalry Training Costs

Kingshot Truegold Cavalry Training costs and requirements

Truegold Cavalry Training lowers the resources required to train XI Cavalry. It does not reduce training time or increase the number of troops that fit in a training queue.

Each of its ten levels provides a listed 5% training-cost reduction. Completing the full technology produces a cumulative listed reduction of 50%.

Training is most valuable for accounts that continuously produce or replace XI Cavalry. Players who only need enough troops for one march may receive less value from immediately completing all ten levels.

Truegold Cavalry Aid Costs

Kingshot Truegold Cavalry Aid healing time research

Truegold Cavalry Aid reduces the time needed to heal wounded XI Cavalry. It does not reduce healing resources and should not be confused with Truegold Cavalry Healing.

Each Aid level provides 1.5% healing time down. Completing all ten levels provides a listed cumulative reduction of 15%.

Combined Costs Covered in This Guide

The following totals cover the five fully itemized technologies in this article: Truegold Platecraft, the final Truegold Cavalry unlock, Truegold Cavalry Training, Truegold Cavalry Aid, and Truegold Cavalry Healing.

Research Group Bread Wood Stone Iron Gold Dust Base Time
Platecraft 31.06M 31.06M 6.2M 1.554M 659K 2,417 35d 08:31:56

Healing 134.9M 134.9M 27.19M 6.64M 1.63M 5,552 114d 01:30:00
Combined 452.26M 452.26M 91.07M 22.41M 5.725M 18,546 411d 20:31:56

These totals still exclude Truegold Battalion, Truegold Charge, Truegold Farriery, Truegold Lances, and Truegold Legionaries. Therefore, the complete cost of progressing from the beginning of the Cavalry branch to a fully developed T11 Cavalry path is substantially higher.

Data note: Research costs may change in future updates. Community databases may also show inconsistent Dust values for individual levels. Check the current in-game War Academy screen before committing resources or using large quantities of speedups.

Reaching XI Cavalry requires a mature War Academy, completed prerequisite technologies, thousands of Truegold Dust, and many months of base research. Players comparing that progression with an already-developed account can review a Kingshot account for sale, while checking the kingdom, War Academy level, unlocked troop branches, heroes, research distribution, and remaining resources before making a decision.

Which Truegold Cavalry Research Should You Prioritize?

The correct order depends on the role of Cavalry in your account and the problem you are trying to solve. No single technology is automatically the best first choice for every player.

Prioritize Platecraft when:

  • You are progressing toward the final Truegold Cavalry unlock.
  • Cavalry Defense is weaker than your other important Cavalry statistics.
  • You already meet or can soon meet the connected Farriery requirements.
  • Cavalry is a long-term focus for your account.

Choose Training first when:

  • You are building your initial XI Cavalry force.
  • You repeatedly replace Cavalry lost in major battles.
  • Training resources are slowing your troop production.
  • You expect to train large quantities of XI Cavalry over several months.

Choose Aid first when:

  • Your Infirmary regularly contains long XI Cavalry queues.
  • You need wounded troops available during the same battle window.
  • You have enough healing resources but lack healing speedups.
  • Your alliance cannot always provide rapid help for repeated healing batches.

Choose Healing first when:

  • Healing costs consume most of your saved resources.
  • You participate in frequent high-casualty PvP battles.
  • Your alliance can manage healing timers efficiently.
  • You can wait for healing but cannot afford repeated large resource bills.

Prioritize other combat technologies when:

  • Your Cavalry Attack, Health, or Lethality remains underdeveloped.
  • You are losing because of weak combat statistics rather than troop availability.
  • Your XI troop count already meets your current march requirements.
  • Your Truegold Dust is needed to finish another important branch prerequisite.

Training, Aid, and Healing improve efficiency, but they do not directly make individual Cavalry troops stronger. Players who need better battle performance should examine their combat-stat research before maxing every post-unlock technology.

Recommended Research Milestones

You do not need to complete every technology in one continuous push. Partial milestones can provide useful benefits while preserving Dust for other branches.

Level Platecraft Defense Training Reduction Aid Time Reduction Healing Cost Reduction Best Use
Level 3 6% 15% 4.5% 15% Limited initial investment
Level 5 11% 25% 7.5% 25% Balanced stopping point
Level 8 20% 40% 12% 40% Active Cavalry-focused accounts
Maximum 40% at Level 12 50% at Level 10 15% at Level 10 50% at Level 10 Specialized late-game accounts

Level 5 is a practical temporary goal for many post-unlock technologies. However, Platecraft must eventually reach Level 12 if the goal is to unlock Truegold Cavalry.

How to Plan Truegold Cavalry Research

1. Decide whether Cavalry is your main troop branch

Do not choose the Cavalry XI path only because the final troop looks powerful. Your best branch should reflect your developed heroes, combat role, existing research, gear, and alliance responsibilities.

An Infantry- or Archer-focused account may gain more value by finishing its primary branch before committing heavily to Cavalry.

2. Calculate the full prerequisite cost

The final unlock table shows only the price of Truegold Cavalry Level 1. Before beginning the branch, include the cost of Battalion, Charge, Farriery, Legionaries, Lances, and Platecraft in your plan.

Otherwise, you may save enough Dust for the final node but remain blocked by an unfinished prerequisite technology.

3. Progress Platecraft and Farriery together

Truegold Farriery blocks several Platecraft levels. Review both technologies before committing Dust so you do not complete one stage and immediately become blocked by the other.

4. Protect your Gold reserve

The five technologies itemized in this guide consume more than 5.7 million Gold. Earlier branch technologies increase the total further.

Keep enough Gold available for important research checkpoints rather than spending every reserve on smaller upgrades as soon as they appear.

5. Use Alliance Help before speedups

Start major research while active members are online and request Alliance Help before using speedups. Long upgrades provide the greatest opportunity for free timer reductions.

Applying speedups immediately can waste reductions that your alliance could have provided at no additional cost.

6. Match research completion with event scoring

Whenever practical, complete major nodes during events that award points for research power or speedup use. The final troop unlock provides eight million research power, making its completion especially valuable during the correct event phase.

Check the active scoring rules first because some events count completed power, while others reward the number of speedup minutes used.

7. Preserve resources for healing and troop production

Do not empty every Bread, Wood, Stone, and Iron reserve to begin a long research level. A competitive battle can still create an urgent need for healing or troop replacement while the research timer is running.

8. Verify every expensive level in the game

Third-party databases are useful for planning, but live game data should remain the final reference. Confirm the displayed requirements before opening resource items, transferring resources, or consuming large quantities of speedups.

Who Benefits Most From Truegold Cavalry?

Cavalry-focused rally leaders

Rally leaders who already use developed Cavalry heroes and research gain the clearest strategic fit from the XI Cavalry branch. The additional Training, Aid, and Healing technologies also help them maintain troops through repeated battles.

Frequent PvP participants

Players who regularly fight in Castle, fortress, and kingdom battles are more likely to train replacements and heal large numbers of wounded troops. Consequently, they can benefit from all three post-unlock technologies.

Accounts with stable Dust income

A player who can consistently acquire Truegold Dust has more flexibility to continue beyond the troop unlock. Accounts with limited Dust may need to stop at partial Training, Aid, and Healing milestones.

Long-term specialized accounts

Maxing the branch is more suitable for accounts committed to Cavalry over the long term. Players who frequently switch troop focus risk investing heavily in bonuses that do not support their strongest march.

Common Truegold Cavalry Mistakes

Confusing regular Truegold with Truegold Dust

Regular Truegold upgrades buildings. Truegold Dust funds War Academy research. Saving one does not automatically cover the requirements of the other system.

Budgeting only for the final unlock

The final Truegold Cavalry node requires 2,236 Dust, but reaching it also requires six earlier technologies. A realistic plan must include the entire branch.

Ignoring Platecraft and Farriery dependencies

Several Platecraft levels require specific Farriery stages. Review both technologies before spending Dust so your Defense progression does not become unexpectedly blocked.

Assuming Training reduces training time

Truegold Cavalry Training reduces the listed training resource cost. It does not specifically reduce the duration of the training queue.

Confusing Aid with Healing

Aid lowers healing time. Healing lowers healing resource costs. Their benefits, costs, and ideal use cases are different.

Assuming post-unlock research increases combat stats

Training, Aid, and Healing improve troop efficiency and recovery. They do not directly increase Attack, Defense, Health, or Lethality.

Maxing every technology immediately

The last levels consume a disproportionate amount of Dust, Gold, and research time. Partial milestones may create better short-term value while allowing other research branches to progress.

Ignoring Alliance Help

Long timers should receive all available Alliance Help before speedups are used. This applies to both War Academy research and large healing batches.

FAQ

How do you unlock Truegold Cavalry in Kingshot?

You need War Academy TG Level 5, Truegold Lances Level 12, Truegold Platecraft Level 12, and Truegold Legionaries (Cavalry) Level 12. The final research node then unlocks XI Truegold Cavalry.

Is Truegold Cavalry the same as T11 Cavalry?

Yes. Truegold Cavalry is the XI, or T11, Cavalry troop tier unlocked through the War Academy.

What does Truegold Platecraft do?

Truegold Platecraft increases Cavalry Defense. Completing all 12 levels provides a listed cumulative bonus of 40%, and Level 12 is required for the Truegold Cavalry unlock.

How much Truegold Dust does the final Cavalry unlock require?

The final Truegold Cavalry research node requires 2,236 Truegold Dust. This does not include the Dust used for Platecraft, Lances, Legionaries, or the other prerequisite technologies.

What does Truegold Cavalry Training do?

It reduces the listed resource cost of training Truegold Cavalry. Ten completed levels provide a cumulative listed reduction of 50%.

What is the difference between Cavalry Aid and Cavalry Healing?

Truegold Cavalry Aid reduces healing time, while Truegold Cavalry Healing reduces the resources required to heal the troops.

Which Truegold Cavalry technology should I prioritize?

Prioritize Platecraft when working toward the T11 unlock, Training when troop production is expensive, Aid when healing queues are too slow, and Healing when wounded troops consume too many resources.

How long does the Truegold Cavalry unlock take?

The final unlock has a base research time of 91 days, 8 hours, and 15 minutes. Your actual timer will be lower after research-speed bonuses, Alliance Help, temporary buffs, and speedups.

Conclusion

Truegold Cavalry is a major late-game investment rather than a single troop upgrade. Before reaching the final unlock, players must complete Platecraft, Lances, Legionaries, and the other connected Cavalry technologies.

Truegold Platecraft alone requires 2,417 Truegold Dust and provides 40% cumulative Cavalry Defense. After that and the other prerequisites are complete, the final XI Cavalry unlock requires another 2,236 Dust, one million Gold, and more than 91 days of base research time.

Training, Aid, and Healing can then reduce the long-term cost of producing and recovering XI Cavalry. However, these post-unlock technologies require another 13,893 Truegold Dust and more than 285 days of base research when fully completed.

Plan the entire branch before spending, balance Platecraft with Farriery, prioritize the technology that solves your account’s biggest problem, and use partial milestones when another research path offers greater immediate value.
