Kingshot Kingdom of Power KvK event guide

Kingshot Kingdom of Power, also called KvK or SvS, is a cross-kingdom event built around preparation, resource timing, alliance coordination, and a 12-hour Battle Phase. Two kingdoms are matched, compete through the Preparation Phase, and then fight over the King’s Castle and battlefield rewards.

The strongest kingdoms do not simply spend everything when the event appears. They save the correct materials for the correct day, coordinate kingdom-wide scoring, prepare battle roles before Saturday, and understand which troops and targets actually generate points.

KvK :
Matchmaking: normally starts Saturday, with the opponent published Sunday.
Preparation: officially lasts 5 days + 10 hours.
Battle: starts Saturday at 10:00 UTC and lasts 12 hours.
King’s Castle: available during the middle 5 hours of Battle Day.
Castle win: hold it for the longest total time or for 2.5 consecutive hours.
Field Triage: up to 90% recovery is possible through the current revival system.

What Is Kingdom of Power in Kingshot?

Kingdom of Power is Kingshot’s main kingdom-versus-kingdom event. The event moves through four major stages:

  1. Matchmaking Phase – the game selects an opposing kingdom.
  2. Preparation Phase – both kingdoms score by using specific progression resources and completing daily tasks.
  3. Battle Phase – governors cross kingdoms, fight for points, and contest the King’s Castle.
  4. Field Triage Phase – eligible lost troops can be recovered after the battle.

KvK is not currently documented by Kingshot as a guaranteed fixed four-week schedule. Use the live event calendar for the next cycle instead of assuming a permanent recurrence interval.

Kingdom of Power Schedule and Phase Timeline

The current official timing gives the event a clear structure, but the live event panel should always be treated as the final schedule for your kingdom.

Phase Current Timing Main Goal
Matchmaking Normally Saturday-Sunday Opponent selection and scouting
Preparation 5 days + 10 hours Outscore the opposing kingdom
Battle Saturday 10:00-22:00 UTC Cross-kingdom combat and King’s Castle
Field Triage After Battle Phase Recover eligible lost troops

Matchmaking Phase: How KvK Opponents Are Chosen

Kingshot officially confirms that Kingdom of Power matchmaking normally begins on Saturday and the result is published on Sunday, making matchmaking a two-day process.

Kingshot Kingdom of Power matchmaking phase

Kingshot does not publish the full matchmaking formula in its public Help Center. Current community databases consistently track a comparison based on the strength of the kingdom’s leading governors together with kingdom progression or generation. Because the formula is not fully public, treat exact matchmaking calculators or claims about a single power number as estimates.

Do not destroy account progression to manipulate matchmaking. Unequipping Gear, dismissing useful troops, or making last-minute power changes is not a reliable way to force an easier opponent. Prepare your account for the event instead of weakening it before the match.

If your kingdom receives no opponent, community-tracked Matchmaking Bye Rewards have included Kingdom Coins and other items. Check the live reward panel because reward contents can change between event versions.

How to Prepare Before Kingdom of Power

Good KvK preparation starts before the five scoring days. The goal is not to hoard every resource forever. It is to stop spending high-value KvK materials shortly before they become scoreable.

Highest-Priority Resources to Save

  • Truegold for building upgrades.
  • Truegold Dust for War Academy research where available.
  • Tempered Truegold for late-game building progression once the relevant systems are unlocked.
  • Construction, Research, Training and Master Skill Speedups.
  • Mythic, Epic and Rare Hero Shards.
  • Hero Roulette spins.
  • Advanced and Common Taming Marks.
  • Pet Advancement resources.
  • Governor Charm and Governor Gear materials.
  • Forgehammers, Widgets and Mithril.
  • Master Emblems and Master’s Manuscripts when your kingdom has those systems.
  • Intel Missions on days where they score.

If you need deeper planning for individual materials, use the Kingshot Truegold Guide, Tempered Truegold Guide, Mithril Guide, and Kingshot Widgets Guide.

Battle Preparation Checklist

  • Empty or reduce pressure on the Infirmary before Battle Day.
  • Prepare march and rally presets.
  • Confirm your alliance’s rally leaders, garrison players and field fighters.
  • Know the Saturday 10:00-22:00 UTC battle window.
  • Coordinate teleport and shell-alliance plans before cross-kingdom movement begins.
  • Prepare healing resources and Gems for sustained fighting.
  • Check the Town Center level range that will generate Battle points for you.

Preparation Phase: Current Day 1-5 Tasks

The Preparation Phase is a kingdom-wide points race. The current official duration is 5 days + 10 hours, while the daily scoring themes are tracked through the live event interface.

The point values below reflect the current 2026 task structure tracked across recent Kingshot references. If your live event table shows a different value, use the in-game number.

Day 1 – City Construction

Day 1 rewards building progression, Charm progress, Intel Missions, and several speedup categories.

  • Raise Governor Gear Charm max score by 1 – 70 points
  • Use 1 Truegold to upgrade a building – 2,000 points
  • Use 1 Truegold Dust for Tech Research – 1,000 points
  • Use 1 Tempered Truegold to upgrade a building – 30,000 points
  • Use 1 minute of Construction Speedups – 30 points
  • Use 1 minute of Research Speedups – 30 points
  • Use 1 minute of Troop Training/Promotion Speedups – 30 points
  • Use 1 minute of Master Skill Speedups – 30 points
  • Finish 1 Intel Mission – 6,000 points

Day 1 priority: Intel Missions and saved late-game materials can generate strong score efficiently. Do not spend everything simply because multiple speedup categories are active.

Day 2 – Basic Skills Up

Day 2 combines buildings, research, speedups, Hero Roulette, Hero Shards, gathering and newer Master-system materials.

  • Use 1 Truegold – 2,000 points
  • Use 1 Truegold Dust – 1,000 points
  • Use 1 Tempered Truegold – 30,000 points
  • Use 1 minute of Construction, Research, Training or Master Skill Speedups – 30 points
  • Play Hero Roulette 1 time – 8,000 points
  • Use 1 Rare Hero Shard – 350 points
  • Use 1 Epic Hero Shard – 1,220 points
  • Use 1 Mythic Hero Shard – 3,040 points
  • Use 1 Master Emblem – 6,000 points
  • Use 1 Master’s Manuscript – 60 points
  • Gather 1,000 Bread or Wood – 2 points
  • Gather 200 Stone or 50 Iron – 2 points

Hero Shards are valuable outside KvK, so only spend them on heroes you already intend to develop. The Kingshot Hero Shards Guide explains the 1,065-shard progression curve and when flexible General Shards are worth using.

Day 3 – Pet Training

Day 3 is one of the strongest scoring days for players who saved Taming Marks, Hero Roulette spins and Hero Shards.

  • Raise Pet Advancement Score by 1 – 50 points
  • Use 1 Advanced Taming Mark – 15,000 points
  • Use 1 Common Taming Mark – 1,150 points
  • Raise Governor Gear Charm max score by 1 – 70 points
  • Play Hero Roulette 1 time – 8,000 points
  • Use 1 Rare Hero Shard – 350 points
  • Use 1 Epic Hero Shard – 1,220 points
  • Use 1 Mythic Hero Shard – 3,040 points
  • Finish 1 Intel Mission – 6,000 points
  • Use 1 Master Emblem – 6,000 points
  • Use 1 Master’s Manuscript – 60 points

Day 3 efficiency: Advanced Taming Marks are currently tracked at 15,000 points each, while Hero Roulette gives 8,000 per spin and Mythic Hero Shards give 3,040 each. Saving those resources before KvK creates much more value than using them randomly between cycles.

Day 4 – Hero Development

Day 4 can create a major score swing because late-game Hero Gear materials score heavily.

  • Raise Governor Gear Charm max score by 1 – 70 points
  • Use 1 Hero Gear Forgehammer – 4,000 points
  • Use 1 Widget for Hero Exclusive Gear – 8,000 points
  • Use 1 Mithril – 40,000 points
  • Train troops – points increase by troop tier
  • Gather Bread, Wood, Stone and Iron – current gathering rates apply

Current troop training values range from 3 points for a Level 1 troop up to 75 points for a Level 11 troop. Players without Mithril can still contribute through troop training, Widgets, Forgehammers and gathering.

Day 5 – Power Boost

Day 5 is the broadest scoring day and is usually where remaining stockpiles can be converted into points.

  • Raise Pet Advancement Score by 1 – 50 points
  • Use 1 Advanced Taming Mark – 15,000 points
  • Use 1 Common Taming Mark – 1,150 points
  • Use 1 Mithril – 40,000 points
  • Raise Governor Gear max score by 1 – 36 points
  • Use 1 Hero Gear Forgehammer – 4,000 points
  • Use 1 Widget – 8,000 points
  • Use 1 Truegold – 2,000 points
  • Use 1 Truegold Dust – 1,000 points
  • Use 1 Tempered Truegold – 30,000 points
  • Use 1 minute of Construction, Research, Training or Master Skill Speedups – 30 points
  • Finish 1 Intel Mission – 6,000 points
  • Gather resources – current gathering rates apply

Preparation Rewards and the Current Kingdom Medal Rule

Preparation rewards include daily Personal Chests, ranking rewards, alliance rewards, total ranking rewards, and Kingdom Medal rewards.

Kingshot KvK personal reward chest example
Kingshot KvK personal reward chest example two
Kingshot KvK personal reward chest example three

The most important freshness change is the Kingdom Medal requirement. Older guides and screenshots often describe a six-medal progression. The current official Kingshot rule is different:

  • Claim all 3 daily chests to earn a Kingdom Medal.
  • Collect 2 Kingdom Medals to claim the Medal Rewards.

Reward screenshots can become outdated even when the scoring mechanic stays the same. Use them as examples, but check the live event reward preview before planning a large resource spend around a specific item.

How Winning Preparation Changes Battle Day

The kingdom that wins Preparation becomes the attacking side for the opponent’s King’s Castle, while the losing side defends. This is why the five-day points race is strategically important even for players who are mainly interested in Battle Day.

Preparation also determines which kingdom has the opportunity to establish the stronger King’s Reign outcome after the castle fight. A large whale account can carry individual battles, but it cannot replace kingdom-wide Preparation participation.

Battle Phase: Current 12-Hour Schedule

The current Battle Phase runs from 10:00 UTC to 22:00 UTC on Saturday. Kingshot now divides those 12 hours into three clear windows:

UTC Time Battle Window What You Can Do
10:00-12:00 Cross-Kingdom Combat Teleport, fight, scout and position before the castle opens.
12:00-17:00 King’s Castle Battle Contest the King’s Castle and turrets.
17:00-22:00 Cross-Kingdom Combat Continue PvP and finish Battle Phase point goals.

This replaces older guides that describe a six-hour castle window. The current King’s Castle fight is 5 hours.

How to Win the King’s Castle Battle

During the 5-hour castle window, the winner is determined by occupation. Your kingdom can win by:

  • holding the King’s Castle for the longest total occupation time, or
  • holding it continuously for 2.5 consecutive hours.

That consecutive-hold condition makes rally timing, garrison swaps, reinforcement depth and turret control more important than simply winning one large fight.

Turret Lethality Bonuses

Current community tracking still lists the following same-kingdom turret bonuses when the turret side supports the kingdom controlling the King’s Castle:

  • 1 turret – +8% Squad Lethality
  • 2 turrets – +12% Squad Lethality
  • 3 turrets – +15% Squad Lethality
  • 4 turrets – +20% Squad Lethality

Do not treat turrets as secondary objectives. Coordinated turret control can materially improve the castle holder’s combat performance.

How Battle Points Work

Battle scoring comes from castle/turret occupation and combat with the opposing kingdom.

  • Occupying the King’s Castle or a Turret generates points based on occupying squad power and time.
  • Defeating enemy troops generates points based on troop level.
  • Losing troops in qualifying combat against the opposing kingdom also generates points based on troop level.

The most important official restriction is the 3-level rule. You only receive Battle points when the level difference between you and the opponent is within 3 levels. For rallies, Kingshot checks the level difference between the rally initiator and the opponent.

Do not farm the wrong target: A battle can still happen even when it gives you no event score. Before repeatedly attacking a weaker or stronger governor, confirm that the level difference qualifies for Kingdom of Power points.

Important Cross-Kingdom Battle Rules

Several smaller rules can change how you organize Battle Day:

  • Auto Hunting works after crossing kingdoms, but Auto Rally does not.
  • Outpost buffs remain active after moving to the opposing kingdom.
  • After crossing kingdoms, you can attack players from your own kingdom who belong to a different alliance.
  • Alliance Buildings are not normal Battle Phase attack targets.
  • Kingdom positions are reset when the castle battle begins.

These rules matter most for organized alliances using shell alliances, multiple rally groups, or cross-kingdom farming plans.

Can You Change Alliances During Kingdom of Power?

Yes, but alliance switching can affect points and rewards.

  • Points earned while you were in Alliance A stay with Alliance A.
  • They do not transfer to Alliance B when you move.
  • New Personal and Alliance points begin accumulating from the time you join Alliance B.
  • Alliance Ranking Rewards use the alliance you belong to when rewards are tallied.
  • Daily Phase Chests can only be claimed once. Changing alliances does not let you claim them again.
  • During the Battle Phase, alliance switching is allowed, but the current official FAQ warns that your points will be reset.

Alliance leadership tip: If your kingdom uses shell alliances for KvK, assign moves before players start serious scoring. Last-minute switching can damage personal rankings or reset Battle points.

High King and King’s Reign Explained

The old explanation that “attackers win = High King, defenders win = normal King” is too simple for the current rules.

If the Preparation winner attacks the opposing kingdom but does not fully secure the King’s Castle, the final ruling result can still depend on castle occupation time. Kingshot states that two Kings can rise in certain outcomes, with the rightful ruling alliance determined by occupation duration.

If the attacker fails to occupy the King’s Castle for even one second, the previous King can be crowned. When a High King is established, most High King skills can affect both the High King’s current kingdom and affiliated kingdoms, with Kingdom Search treated separately.

The practical lesson is simple: even if your kingdom wins Preparation, you still need meaningful castle occupation on Battle Day. Preparation gives you the attacking opportunity; it does not automatically guarantee the strongest King’s Reign outcome.

Battle Phase Rewards

Battle rewards include milestone rewards, Personal Ranking Rewards, Alliance Ranking Rewards, and kingdom-wide winner or runner-up rewards.

Current community-tracked rewards still show 50 Kingdom Coins for the winning kingdom and 15 Kingdom Coins for the runner-up kingdom, alongside other items. Reward contents can change, so confirm the live Battle reward preview for the current cycle.

Field Triage: How Troop Revival Works

Field Triage helps recover eligible troops that were lost during the Kingdom of Power Battle Phase. The current official recovery structure is:

  • 30% revived by the system.
  • Up to another 10% through the Gem-based recovery step.
  • Up to another 50% through Ally Help.
  • Maximum displayed recovery can therefore reach 90%.

The actual number recovered can be lower than the displayed percentage depending on which troops are eligible for Field Triage. Troops handled by the Infirmary or Enlistment Office follow their own recovery systems and should not be counted as Field Triage losses.

This is why the older wording about Medical Satchels and Rescue Orders is better replaced with the current official recovery breakdown. Use the live Triage interface if item labels change again.

Kingdom of Power Shop

Kingshot Kingdom of Power Shop example
Kingshot Kingdom of Power Shop example two

The Kingdom of Power Shop opens with the first Preparation Phase and then remains available. Current community tracking lists a two-week shop reset, with Kingdom Coins used for purchases.

Tracked winner-exclusive items have included the Sky Guardian Avatar Frame, Truegold, and Mythic General Hero Shards. Because shop inventories can expand with kingdom progression, always compare the live inventory before spending a limited Kingdom Coin balance.

Best F2P Kingdom of Power Strategy

F2P players usually cannot compete with the largest accounts through raw spending, but KvK rewards preparation discipline much more than random progression.

  1. Save high-value materials before the event. Taming Marks, Hero Shards, Truegold, Widgets, Forgehammers and Mithril should not be spent casually if KvK is close.
  2. Target efficient daily chests first. Guaranteed milestone value is normally safer than chasing an uncertain leaderboard rank.
  3. Use free or repeatable scoring. Intel Missions, gathering and planned troop training can contribute without destroying premium stockpiles.
  4. Spend on permanent upgrades. A KvK point is more valuable when the same action improves your main march or account progression.
  5. Be online for Battle Day. Teleporting, reinforcing, healing and supporting rallies can matter even if you are not a rally leader.
  6. Use Ally Help during Field Triage. Do not finish the event without maximizing the free recovery support available to you.

Common Kingdom of Power Mistakes

Assuming KvK Is Always Every Four Weeks

Community cycles may look regular, but Kingshot’s current official schedule guidance does not guarantee a fixed recurrence. Follow the live event calendar.

Using Old Medal Requirements

The old six-medal explanation is outdated. The current official rule requires all three daily chests for a Medal and two Medals for the Medal Rewards.

Spending KvK Materials Before Their Scoring Day

Using Hero Shards, Taming Marks, Mithril, Truegold or Widgets one day early can remove thousands of points from your Preparation total.

Ignoring the 3-Level Battle Rule

You can fight an opponent and still receive no Kingdom of Power points if the level difference is too large.

Thinking the Castle Is a Six-Hour Fight

The current official Battle structure gives the King’s Castle a five-hour window inside the 12-hour Battle Phase.

Switching Alliances Without Planning

Alliance changes can affect point ownership, ranking rewards and Battle Phase totals. Coordinate moves with leadership first.

Stopping After Winning Preparation

Winning Preparation gives your kingdom the attacking opportunity, but it does not guarantee a High King outcome without meaningful castle occupation.

Forgetting Field Triage

The event does not end when fighting stops. Maximize system recovery, the Gem-based step and Ally Help before the recovery window closes.

Comparing established kingdoms: When reviewing a kingshot account for sale, compare hero generations, troop depth, Truegold progression, Hero Gear, Widgets, Pets, saved KvK resources, kingdom age, alliance strength and transfer status rather than relying on total Power alone.

FAQ

How often does Kingdom of Power happen in Kingshot?

Kingshot does not currently publish a guaranteed fixed recurrence interval in its public Kingdom of Power FAQ. Matchmaking normally begins on Saturday and the opponent is published Sunday. Use the live event calendar for the next cycle.

How long is the Kingdom of Power Preparation Phase?

The current official duration is 5 days + 10 hours.

What time does Kingshot KvK Battle Day start?

The Battle Phase currently begins at 10:00 UTC on Saturday and runs for 12 hours until 22:00 UTC.

How long is the King’s Castle battle?

The current castle window lasts 5 hours, between the first two and final five hours of the 12-hour Battle Phase.

How do you win the King’s Castle during KvK?

Occupy the King’s Castle for the longest total time, or hold it continuously for 2.5 hours.

Why am I not earning Battle points?

Check the level difference between you and the opponent. Kingshot requires the difference to be within 3 levels. For rallies, the rally initiator’s level is used for this check.

How many Kingdom Medals do I need for Medal Rewards?

The current official rule says you earn a Medal after claiming all three daily chests, and 2 Kingdom Medals are required to claim Medal Rewards.

Can I change alliances during Kingdom of Power?

Yes, but points earned in the previous alliance do not transfer, daily chests cannot be claimed twice, and the current official FAQ warns that Battle Phase points reset when switching alliances during Battle.

How much of my army can Field Triage recover?

The current recovery structure is 30% from the system, up to 10% through Gems, and up to 50% through Ally Help, for a maximum displayed recovery of 90% on eligible losses.

Does winning Preparation guarantee a High King?

No. Winning Preparation gives your kingdom the attacking opportunity, but the King’s Reign result still depends on King’s Castle occupation during Battle Day.

Does Auto Rally work after crossing kingdoms?

No. Current Kingshot guidance says Auto Hunting remains available after crossing kingdoms, but Auto Rally does not.

Conclusion

Kingshot Kingdom of Power is won through preparation first and battlefield execution second. Save the correct materials for the five Preparation days, use the live scoring table before spending, and coordinate your kingdom around the Saturday Battle window.

The biggest current rules to remember are the 5-day + 10-hour Preparation duration, the 10:00-22:00 UTC Battle Phase, the five-hour King’s Castle window, the 2.5-hour consecutive occupation win condition, the 3-level Battle scoring restriction, and the updated two-Medal reward requirement.

After Battle Day, do not ignore Field Triage. Maximize eligible troop recovery, review the Kingdom of Power Shop, and save anything that has better value in the next cycle. For more event and progression coverage, browse the Kingshot guides.
