Last War City Clash Season 6 Guide

City Clash in Last War Season 6: Lost Rainforest changes territory warfare more dramatically than any previous season. Early City Clash still involves capturing neutral Cities, but from Week 3 onward the event becomes Faction Clash: Cities belonging to the opposing faction are permanently destroyed instead of captured.

Season 6 places eight Warzones into two four-Warzone factions, Deepwood and Wetland. City ownership, destruction, Fishing Grounds, Alliance Pacts, Sanctuaries, and faction-wide Influence Points are all connected. A careless attack can permanently remove a City and its territorial connection, so R4 and R5 leadership must plan several moves ahead.

Weeks 1–2 are about capturing neutral territory and securing your own Warzone. From Week 3 onward, enemy Cities are destroyed permanently. Protect important route Cities, coordinate destruction targets across the faction, and use Fishing Grounds plus Alliance Pacts to preserve movement after City connections disappear.

How Season 6 City Clash Works

Season 6 divides City warfare into two stages.

Early City Clash

During the opening weeks, alliances capture neutral Cities using familiar territory rules. Your alliance needs a valid territorial connection before declaring, and Cities can only be acted on during Wednesday and Saturday War Declaration Days.

If several eligible alliances attack the same neutral City, ownership goes to the alliance with the highest qualifying Durability contribution.

Faction Clash

Faction Clash begins in Week 3. From this point, attacking a City belonging to the opposing faction automatically changes the normal Declare War action into Destroy.

A destroyed City:

  • Becomes a permanent ruin.
  • Cannot be repaired or captured again.
  • No longer belongs to an alliance.
  • No longer provides territory adjacency.
  • Provides destruction rewards and Influence Points.
  • Changes the strategic map for the rest of Season 6.

This permanence is the defining mechanic of Season 6.

Season 6 City Clash Schedule

Last War City Clash Season 6 Wetland Assembly

Season Timing City Clash Unlock
Week 1 Wednesday Level 1 Cities
Week 1 Saturday Level 2 Cities
Week 2 Wednesday Level 3 Cities
Week 2 Saturday Home Warzone Sanctuary contest
Weeks 3–7 Wednesday & Saturday Faction Clash against enemy faction Cities
Weeks 5–7 Saturday Enemy Warzone Sanctuary battles

Season 6 Cities use only three normal City levels. The Sanctuary acts as the major Warzone objective rather than extending the regular City ladder through many additional levels.

Exact opening times should always be confirmed through the current in-game countdown because schedules can change between server cohorts or later updates.

War Declaration Days and Daily Limits

City actions are restricted to Wednesday and Saturday.

Each alliance has a daily limit of two City actions on those War Days. Declare War and Destroy share that same limit. For example, using one declaration to capture a neutral City and one Destroy action against an enemy City consumes both available actions for that day.

Fishing Grounds use a separate capture limit, so alliances can still capture Strongholds on the same day without consuming their City declaration allowance.

Same-Faction City Rules

Season 6 prevents alliances within one faction from simply taking Cities from each other.

The rules depend on ownership:

  • Neutral City: eligible same-faction alliances can declare and compete for it.
  • Owned same-faction City: protected from attacks by other alliances in that faction.
  • Enemy-faction City: can be destroyed after Faction Clash opens.

This encourages alliances within Deepwood or Wetland to cooperate rather than repeatedly trading internal Cities.

Territory Adjacency Still Matters

Even in Season 6, your alliance needs a valid territorial connection to declare on a City. Diagonal adjacency can qualify.

Territory can come from:

  • Your alliance’s Cities.
  • Your alliance’s Fishing Grounds.
  • An Alliance Pact partner’s qualifying connected territory.
  • Later Outpost routes where applicable.

The major risk is that destroyed Cities stop providing adjacency. A route that works before Wednesday’s battle may disappear permanently after several Cities are destroyed.

Fishing Grounds Replace Strongholds

Traditional seasonal Strongholds are replaced by Fishing Grounds in Season 6.

They have two important functions:

  • They provide territorial connections across the battlefield.
  • They unlock fishing for members of the controlling faction.

Fishing Grounds become increasingly important once Cities start disappearing because a destroyed City can no longer function as a territorial bridge.

Neutral Fishing Grounds can be captured without waiting for a City War Day, while attacks against an already owned Fishing Ground are restricted to Wednesday and Saturday and must respect the owner’s Alliance Safe Time.

Week 2 Cross-Warzone Expansion

From Week 2, alliances can begin expanding beyond their original Warzone through Fishing Grounds and qualifying neutral territory. Enemy-faction Cities remain protected from destruction until Faction Clash opens in Week 3.

This week is best used to establish routes and prepare positions for the first true faction battles.

Do not rely on a long City chain as your only route into enemy territory. Cities can disappear permanently. Build useful Fishing Ground connections and coordinate Alliance Pacts so one successful enemy destruction does not cut your entire faction off from the next objective.

How City Destruction Affects Influence Points

Influence Points are one of the main scoring systems for Season 6 faction and alliance performance.

When an enemy City is destroyed:

  • The attacking side gains 50% of the City’s Influence Point value.
  • The defending side loses the City’s full Influence Point value.
  • The remaining 50% of the City’s original value disappears permanently.

This makes destruction more powerful than simply adding points to your own score. One successful attack both raises your faction’s total and removes a larger amount of value from the opponent.

Do Not Duplicate Destruction Targets

If several alliances attack the same enemy City, each can consume a declaration, but only the alliance with the highest qualifying destruction contribution receives the destruction credit and associated rewards.

Faction leadership should therefore assign targets rather than allowing several alliances to waste their two daily actions on the same City.

Which Enemy Cities Should You Destroy?

Do not destroy Cities only because they are nearby.

The best targets usually:

  • Break an important enemy territorial route.
  • Remove access toward your Sanctuary.
  • Expose another strategic City.
  • Interrupt an enemy Alliance Pact connection.
  • Protect your faction’s route toward an enemy Sanctuary.
  • Remove a high-value Influence Point location.

A low-level City can be strategically more important than a higher-level target if destroying it cuts several enemy routes.

How to Destroy a City Efficiently

1. Check the Route

Confirm your alliance has valid adjacency before members relocate. Also verify that the territory providing that connection is unlikely to disappear during the same battle window.

2. Scout the Defense

Identify the defending formations and how heavily the City is reinforced. Prepare Tank, Aircraft, or Missile counters where practical.

3. Clear the Garrison

Use coordinated rallies or synchronized attack waves against heavily defended Cities. Several squads landing together can make it harder for defenders to refill empty garrison positions.

4. Attack Durability Continuously

Once the main defense is removed, switch the alliance toward repeated Durability attacks. Individual Destroy ranking contribution also comes from Durability damage.

5. Finish the Target

Partial damage does not provide the strategic benefit of permanent destruction. Since declarations are limited, concentrate enough force to complete priority targets instead of spreading damage across several Cities.

Defending Season 6 Cities

Defenders can place up to 40 garrison squads in a City under the current Season 6 rules.

Your active Alliance Pact partner can also reinforce your Cities, making cross-alliance cooperation especially valuable when the enemy faction concentrates several alliances on one route.

Remember that successfully defending a City does not grant a long new protection period. The same City may become attackable again during the next eligible battle window, depending on Alliance Safe Time.

Alliance Safe Time

Season 6 keeps the Alliance Safe Time system introduced previously.

War Days contain three battle windows. Each alliance protects one window as its Safe Time, leaving two periods when its owned Cities and Fishing Grounds can be attacked.

Choose the protected window based on:

  • When overall alliance attendance is lowest.
  • When your major rally and garrison leaders are unavailable.
  • When enemy alliances are most active.
  • Which Sanctuary or City defense is expected that week.

R4/R5 can adjust the selection on the permitted weekly schedule, so reconsider it as faction warfare shifts to different parts of the map.

Alliance Pacts in City Clash

An Alliance Pact links two same-faction alliances that maintain adjacent Handshake territory.

For City Clash, the most important benefits are:

  • Shared territory adjacency.
  • Ability to reinforce the partner’s Cities and Fishing Grounds.
  • Faster defense support movement.
  • Shared Alliance War information.
  • A joint communication channel.

Only one Pact can be active per alliance. If the final adjacent Handshake territory is lost, the Pact becomes invalid and reinforcing troops are recalled.

This makes border Fishing Grounds and Cities especially important. Losing one tile can break not only a route but also the cooperation structure supporting it.

Snake Barrier and Alliance Skills

From Week 3 onward, Altar Conquest begins unlocking Alliance Skills.

The Snake Altar provides Snake Barrier, a defensive skill that can add an additional shield layer to an important City. Attackers must break that protection before normal City Durability can be damaged.

Later Altars unlock additional offensive and support abilities, making Altar ownership increasingly relevant to City Clash even though Altars do not themselves form ordinary territory connections.

Save major Alliance Skills for high-value Cities, route defenses, and Sanctuary operations instead of spending them on low-priority fights.

Warzone Integrity and Final Stand

Permanent destruction also feeds the Warzone Integrity system.

As more Cities in a Warzone are destroyed, its Integrity drops. Lower Integrity activates progressively stronger Final Stand bonuses for players in that Warzone, including combinations of:

  • March acceleration.
  • Economic bonuses.
  • Training speed.
  • Reduced damage taken at lower Integrity stages.

This is an anti-snowball mechanic. An enemy Warzone that has lost many Cities becomes easier to reach geographically but can become increasingly difficult to fight inside.

The Sanctuary: Season 6’s Capitol

Each Warzone has a Sanctuary, which serves as Season 6’s major Capitol-style objective.

The home Sanctuary first opens during Week 2. Starting in Week 5, enemy Sanctuaries become part of Saturday cross-Warzone battles.

A destroyed Sanctuary is permanent, just like an enemy City. It cannot be rebuilt during the season, although its title-assignment functionality remains available.

Sanctuary outcomes also grant major Influence Point effects to the leading alliances within the relevant faction, making them much more important than a normal City.

Protect the Routes to Your Sanctuary

Late-season Sanctuary access can depend on:

  • Surviving Cities.
  • Fishing Ground routes.
  • Warzone Outposts.
  • Alliance Pact territory.

Do not evaluate a City only by its own Influence value. A small City that protects an Outpost or Sanctuary route may be worth defending with significantly more resources.

Best R4 and R5 Strategy by Week

Weeks 1–2: Build the Network

Capture neutral Cities, expand through Fishing Grounds, raise Virus Resistance, and establish faction diplomacy. Decide which alliances will control key border routes before friendly competition creates unnecessary conflict.

Week 3: Begin Strategic Destruction

Faction Clash activates. Assign targets across your faction, coordinate Alliance Pacts, and destroy Cities that alter the map in your favor.

Week 4: Strengthen Central Control

Altar progression and Alliance Skills become more influential. Protect critical routes while preparing deeper pushes.

Weeks 5–7: Prioritize Sanctuaries

City destruction should now serve the larger objective of reaching enemy Sanctuaries while keeping your own routes intact. Do not spend declarations on low-value targets if they do not support that plan.

There is no recapture after an enemy City is destroyed. Before R4 or R5 commits one of the alliance’s two War Day actions, check what routes disappear, which faction allies are affected, and whether another target provides more strategic value.

Common Season 6 City Clash Mistakes

  • Destroying the nearest City: Target routes and Sanctuaries, not random locations.
  • Duplicating faction targets: Several alliances can waste declarations attacking the same City.
  • Ignoring Fishing Grounds: They become critical connectors once Cities disappear.
  • Forgetting Safe Time: Owned targets are only vulnerable during eligible battle windows.
  • Breaking your own Pact route: Losing Handshake territory can invalidate an Alliance Pact.
  • Spreading destruction damage: Finish important Cities instead of partially damaging several targets.
  • Ignoring Virus Resistance: Seasonal combat progression still affects objective performance.
  • Failing to garrison early: Up to 40 squads can defend a City, but they need time to arrive.
  • Using Alliance Skills on minor targets: Save limited skills for strategically important battles.
  • Ignoring Warzone Integrity: Heavily damaged Warzones receive stronger defensive assistance.
  • Spending declarations without a Sanctuary plan: Late-season City warfare should create or protect Sanctuary access.

Optional Faster Starting Point

Conclusion

Last War City Clash Season 6 is no longer just a race to own the most territory. Once Faction Clash begins, every enemy City destruction permanently changes the battlefield. The best targets are those that damage enemy Influence, break important routes, or open a path toward a Sanctuary.

Build reliable Fishing Ground connections, protect Alliance Pact Handshakes, coordinate declarations across all four Warzones in your faction, and defend critical Cities before their Durability is threatened. By the later weeks, City Clash should serve one larger goal: keeping your faction’s Sanctuary network intact while creating safe routes toward the enemy’s most valuable objectives.
