Last War Season 2 Week 2 increases the pressure of Polar Storm. The Cold Wave becomes harsher, Polar Dishes introduces a long-term source of Coal and other rewards, Beast Crisis begins attacking Alliance Furnaces, and Level 3 and Level 4 cities open new paths for territorial expansion.
The main priority this week is keeping your seasonal economy and alliance defense stable. Continue improving your High-heat Furnace, conserve enough Coal for severe weather, complete daily tasks for Polar Dishes ingredients, and make sure your alliance can fully reinforce the Alliance Furnace when Beast Crisis begins. Leadership should also prepare capture routes before the new Factory and Train Station cities unlock.
Prepare for -30°C Cold Waves, finish all daily task chests for Polar Dishes ingredients, defend the Alliance Furnace during Beast Crisis, and have your territory routes ready before Level 3 Factory and Level 4 Train Station cities become available.

Week 2 Cold Wave: Temperatures Drop to -30°C
The first Cold Wave in Week 1 introduced the temperature system. Week 2 increases the danger by allowing blizzards to reach -30°C.
Your fundamental strategy remains the same: maintain enough heat to keep your Base functional during the storm while avoiding unnecessary Coal consumption between dangerous temperature windows.
Upgrade the High-heat Furnace
Your personal High-heat Furnace is the main tool for surviving the increasingly cold weather. Continue producing Titanium Alloy and investing it into Furnace progression so your available heat keeps pace with the seasonal temperature drops. Do not wait until the Cold Wave starts to discover that your Furnace is several upgrades behind. Titanium Alloy production should remain one of your daily Season 2 priorities.Keep Enough Coal Available
Coal powers the Furnace, making poor Coal management particularly dangerous as temperatures fall. Avoid burning large amounts continuously when the extra heat provides no practical benefit. Instead, maintain enough reserves to keep the Furnace operating during a Cold Wave and use higher-output heating when the weather actually requires it. The Furnace’s Overheat function provides substantially more heat but also consumes Coal much faster. Treat it as a response to dangerous cold rather than the default setting for the entire week.Use the Alliance Furnace
The Alliance Furnace provides additional heat to members located within its effective area. Alliances should maintain a usable Coal reserve for it, especially before Cold Waves and Beast Crisis. Members with weaker personal temperature resistance benefit the most from staying near the Alliance Furnace instead of positioning at the edge of the alliance territory.Warm Frozen or Vulnerable Allies
Season 2 allows players to help allies with temperature problems. Week 2’s Warzone-wide Cold Wave objective also encourages warming other Commanders, so helping vulnerable members can contribute to both alliance survival and seasonal mission progress.Week 2 introduces both stronger Cold Waves and Beast Crisis, so the Alliance Furnace becomes more important at the same time Coal demand increases. Do not burn through the alliance’s reserve without planning for the next weather or defense window.
Polar Dishes Guide
Polar Dishes begins on Day 1 of Week 2 and continues through much of Season 2. The event revolves around preparing meals for the Siberian Husky, Snowflake.
The system is simple but rewards patience. Collect ingredients from daily activity, check which dish Snowflake currently wants, and combine the required ingredients instead of immediately spending whatever you have available.
Polar Dishes Ingredients
There are four ingredient categories:- Meat
- Veggies and Fruits
- Special Dairy
- Flour
Do Not Open the Choice Box Too Early
First check Snowflake’s requested dish and your current inventory. Only then open the Ingredient Choice Box and select the material needed to finish the recipe. Using the box immediately without checking your recipe can leave you overloaded with one ingredient while missing another.Desired Dish vs Unwanted Dish
Preparing the dish Snowflake wants provides the higher-value reward. Under the current event structure, a desired dish can provide:- 650,000 Coal
- 1 Universal Exclusive Weapon Shard
- 2 Epic Resource Chests
Trade Ingredients With Alliance Members
If you repeatedly receive the wrong ingredients, use the trading system rather than settling immediately for an unwanted recipe. Alliance members can exchange ingredients, making it easier to complete the requested dish. A good order is:- Check Snowflake’s requested recipe.
- Open normal Daily Task ingredient rewards.
- Trade duplicates with alliance members.
- Use the Ingredient Choice Box for the remaining shortage.
- Prepare the desired dish.
- Use surplus ingredients on additional dishes when appropriate.
Beast Crisis Guide
Beast Crisis begins in Week 2 and turns the Alliance Furnace into a defensive objective. Mutant Beasts attack the Furnace in waves, and the alliance must reinforce it to prevent its durability from falling to zero.
The event occurs on Tuesdays and Fridays while Beast Crisis is active. Attack targets are announced before the battle so alliance members have time to prepare.
How Beast Crisis Works
A complete Beast Crisis attack contains 30 waves of increasingly powerful Mutant Beasts. Waves arrive approximately one minute apart, so a full defense lasts more than 30 minutes. The Alliance Furnace can hold up to 100 reinforcing squads, with each alliance member able to contribute one squad. Successfully defeating more waves improves the rewards. If a wave breaks through, the Furnace takes durability damage. If its durability reaches zero, it becomes ruined and the alliance loses access to rewards from later Beast Crisis waves until the situation is restored.Best Beast Crisis Defense Strategy
Alliance leadership should announce the defense time in advance and have members reinforce before the opening wave. Use these priorities:- Fill the Furnace before the attack. Do not wait for later waves to begin looking for reinforcements.
- Send your strongest practical squad. The Furnace needs sustained defensive strength.
- Monitor your reinforcement. Squads can be removed from the garrison as the event progresses.
- Reinforce again when possible. Do not assume sending one squad before the event means your job is finished.
- Keep the Furnace operational. Its survival matters both for Beast Crisis and Season 2 temperature management.
Treat the Alliance Furnace as a shared seasonal asset, not just an event target. Fill it before Beast Crisis starts, watch for squads being removed during later waves, and re-garrison promptly so one failed defense does not also weaken the alliance’s temperature protection.
Beast Crisis Rewards
Rewards improve according to how many waves the alliance survives. The event can provide useful Season 2 progression resources, including:- Coal
- Titanium Alloy
- Gold
- Speedups
- Other event progression rewards
Level 3 Factory Cities Unlock
The first major territorial change arrives on Week 2 Day 3, when the seasonal mission for Level 3 Factory cities begins.
The Warzone-wide chest objective becomes available first, while the actual Level 3 city capture objective is delayed by approximately 12 hours.
This is valuable preparation time. Alliance leadership should use it to:
- Confirm which Level 3 Factory is the target.
- Make sure alliance territory connects toward it.
- Coordinate the necessary Dig Sites.
- Prepare rally leaders and participating members.
- Check protection and declaration timers before the planned attack.
Level 4 Train Station Cities Unlock
On Week 2 Day 6, the next seasonal mission opens access toward Level 4 Train Station cities. As with Level 3, the capture portion has a delayed unlock after the mission appears.
Train Stations push alliances farther toward the center of the Season 2 map, making territorial planning increasingly important. A poor chain of Dig Sites can leave an alliance unable to reach the city it actually wants once the capture window opens.
Plan Territory Before the Unlock
Do not wait until Day 6 to discuss the target. R4 and R5 leadership should identify the likely Train Station route earlier in the week and use Dig Site captures to create the required connection. Alliances also need to consider future progression. Week 3 opens still higher city levels, so a Level 4 capture should ideally support the route your alliance wants later rather than creating an isolated branch with little strategic value.City Unlock Schedule Through Week 3
| Season Timing | City Type | Level |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 Day 3 | Village | 1 |
| Week 1 Day 6 | Town | 2 |
| Week 2 Day 3 | Factory | 3 |
| Week 2 Day 6 | Train Station | 4 |
| Week 3 Day 3 | Launch Site | 5 |
| Week 3 Day 6 | War Palace | 6 |
How Week 2 Systems Work Together
Week 2 becomes much easier when you stop treating each event as separate. Polar Dishes supplies large amounts of Coal. That Coal helps maintain your personal and Alliance Furnaces. Stronger temperature management makes Cold Waves safer. Keeping the Alliance Furnace intact also matters during Beast Crisis. Meanwhile, successful city expansion moves the alliance toward warmer strategic bonuses, seasonal resources, and future Rare Soil competition. The practical loop is:- Complete Daily Tasks for Polar Dishes ingredients.
- Convert good recipes into Coal and progression rewards.
- Keep Titanium Alloy production moving.
- Upgrade the High-heat Furnace.
- Maintain enough alliance Coal for Cold Waves and Beast Crisis.
- Defend the Alliance Furnace on Beast Crisis days.
- Expand territory toward Level 3 and Level 4 city objectives.
Additional Week 2 Event: Level Swap EXP
Some servers also show the returning Level Swap EXP event during Week 2. This system allows eligible hero development to be exchanged according to the event’s rules and can remain available for much of the season. Its availability has varied between server groups, so do not assume something is missing if it does not appear on your account. If the event is available, check any Level Swap items saved from earlier progression before committing to a hero change.Best Season 2 Week 2 Daily Checklist
- Finish all Daily Task chests. Secure Polar Dishes ingredients and the Ingredient Choice Box.
- Check Snowflake’s recipe. Trade ingredients before settling for a lower-value meal.
- Collect Titanium Alloy. Keep your Furnace progression moving.
- Monitor Coal reserves. Save enough for Cold Waves and the Alliance Furnace.
- Watch weather warnings. Activate the necessary heat before severe temperature drops arrive.
- Prepare for Tuesday and Friday Beast Crisis. Recall your strongest useful squad beforehand.
- Reinforce the Alliance Furnace. Monitor the full 30-wave defense instead of leaving immediately.
- Follow territorial instructions. Help capture the Dig Sites needed for Factory and Train Station routes.
- Be online around city unlocks if possible. Level 3 and Level 4 captures can be strategically important.
Common Season 2 Week 2 Mistakes
- Running short of Coal: Week 2 increases both heating pressure and Alliance Furnace importance.
- Using Ingredient Choice Boxes immediately: Check the desired recipe first.
- Cooking random dishes too quickly: Trading can help complete Snowflake’s preferred recipe.
- Ignoring Beast Crisis preparation: The Furnace should already be heavily reinforced before Wave 1.
- Going offline after reinforcing: Later waves may require your squad to be sent again.
- Allowing the Alliance Furnace to be ruined: It is also an important Season 2 heat source.
- Waiting until city unlock day to plan territory: Dig Site connections should already support the target route.
- Capturing cities without considering Week 3: Territory should support future Level 5 and Level 6 expansion.
- Overusing Furnace Overheat: Extra heat comes with substantially higher Coal consumption.
